BEAUTY BOXES ARE all the rage nowadays with thousands of women subscribing to the likes of Glossybox, Birchbox and Look Fantastic to get their grubby mitts on cheap beauty samples.
Now Boots and Brown Thomas are getting in on the act with both stores launching their own beauty boxes over the last few days.
Let’s start with Boots.
The high street pharmacy is giving away a free beauty box worth over €70 when customers spend over €60 in store or online. The box comes with:
- No7 Youthful Eye Serum (€27)
- Champneys Barefoot Beauty Foot Butter (€12)
- Mark Hill Taming Anti-Humidity Spray (around €6.99)
- Soap & Glory Hand Food (€8)
- Soltan Once Face (€9)
- No7 Moisture Drench Lipstick (€14)
All the little bits you need for the summer.
Brown Thomas is more high end (and expensive) altogether.
The department store launched a beauty box earlier this week and it’s very fancy. The box itself is worth over €200, but customers who spend over €75 can get their hands on it at a reduced price of €50. (So basically you’re spending a minimum of €125 to get €275 worth of products.)
The box contains a mixture of full size and sample size products.
*deep breaths*
- MAC Vesicolour Stain – Tattoo My Heart (full sized) (€25)
- Aveda Damage Remedy Split End Repair (full sized) (€34)
- Tom Ford Black Orchid (4ml)
- La Mer Moisturising Cream (3.5ml) and The Eye Balm Intense (3ml)
- Estee Lauder Advanced Night Repair Serum (7ml), Advanced Night Micro Essence Balm (7ml) and Sumptuous Knockout Mascara Deluxe-Sized
- Clinique Sonic Brush Head (1 month supply)
- Glamglow Gravity Mud (5oz) and Youth Mud (5oz)
- Bobbi Brown Long-Wear Cream Shadow in Taupe (deluxe-sized)
It’s pricey, no doubt, but it might be the closest most of us get to La Mer in our lifetimes.
Who’s feeling flaithulach?
